We conducted a mapping workshop for Vijaya Institute of Technology for Women, Vijayawada over multiple days and introduced students to mapping on OpenStreetMap through the iD editor, EveryDoor, and taking street imagery with Mapillary. We were able to generate lot of map data although with some issues due to overlapping and concurrent edits. A community discussion ensued on the OSM forum regarding quality of data and some discussion on the EveryDoor GitHub repo regarding improving the so that there are less mistakes. We also received a message on Instagram from a community member who was trying to reach us and an email from the Data Working Group XD. We then formed a cleaning task force and some cleanup.
